Ana M. Hagimasuri, Designer

Ana M. Hagimasuri was born in Romania and moved to the States in 1987. Her passion for interior design was apparent in High School where she began taking interior design classes. Ana spent 2 years at Florida International University’s College of Architecture, and was a member of the Golden Panthers Cheerleading squad. She then re-located to Sarasota where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts at the International Academy of Design. While finishing her degree, she gained valuable experience while working as an Interior Design Assistant to a Residential Interior Designer / Contractor.

After Graduation, Ana was hand picked for a job in Beverly Hills, California working for HKS Architects. HKS has long been a nationally renowned architecture firm, specializing in commercial, hospitality and healthcare projects. Ana worked both in production administration as well as construction administration utilizing her talents in preparing detailed construction documents and renderings.

After 3 years working for a top 5 architecture firm, Ana returned back to Sarasota to continue her career in residential design. She accepted a design position for a well recognized firm, allowing Ana to work first hand on high-end design projects.

Ana started working for Riley Interior Design in 2013. She possesses many skills in space planning, staging, materials and finishes specifications, hand and computer drafting, rendering, and project management. She believes good design should be available and affordable to all, regardless of economic standings. She enjoys working alongside clients researching their goals and dreams, and making those dreams both functional and beautiful.

Ana combines her joy of running with her unconditional support of her mother’ school Oak Park. This school is dedicated to special needs students, and Ana will support special needs students and the school by participating in community events / runs like the Sammy Run and Autism Walk.
